Description
This painting was inspired by the book of the same name written by a French novelist Jules Verne. I was also been away from the ocean for about several months when I did this painting and it did helped me to release all my frustrations.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactPros: The use of color is magnificent- I get a "feeling" from this painting! Well done! I especially like the island- you look at it, at first, it seems like a normal island. However, look closer, and you notice that the lands seems to go down into the murky depths for a loooooong time. " data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>Cons: As far as originality goes, it looks like a lot of things that already exist. I mean, this is nothing new, to me. Also, the sky is kinda bland and cliched- seagulls flying in the distance is not very original.
